When ARE LeBLANQ’s 2022 dates?

  • Our current dates for 2022 are now as follows:

    Isle of Wight - Sir Bradley Wiggins, Johan Museeuw & Angela Hartnett - May 13-15

    Scotland - Sir Chris Hoy, Tom Kitchin & Alan Murchison - July 8-10

    Places are released to club members before general release. Club membership is currently at capacity, but will expanded later in the year. Click here to to sign-up for the membership waiting list.

How much do our WEEKENDS cost?

Packages for each of our weekends cost:

  • Isle of Wight: £2295 (Rider) & £1995 (Non-rider)

  • Scotland: £2495 (Rider) & £2195 (Non-rider)

  • Single room supplement - +£300

What is included in the package?

  • All riding, dining, and accommodation is included in your package, as well as the use of all hotel, bike mechanic and concierge services. You will be provided with custom kit. Click here to see more details on the full package.

  • Scotland - Travel is not included in the package. Please contact our concierge and they will gladly advise you on travel.

  • Isle of Wight Travel - Ferries from Southampton and travel on the Island are included, but travel to Southampton is not. Please contact our concierge and they will gladly advise you on your travel needs for the weekend.

I’d like to bring a friend or partner who doesn’t ride. Is that fine?

  • Of course. We offer a non-riding price for guests who wish to stay with us and enjoy the non-riding elements of the weekend including dinners and chats. We will even organise activities for them while the riding is going on, so they can everything our beautiful destination and base for the weekend has to offer.

IS THE WEEKEND COVID SAFE?

  • We know this is top of both yours and our minds right now, and that’s why we’re going above and beyond to ensure your safety with regards to COVID-19. We will be working within all the current governmental COVID guidelines for all our rides, dinners and hospitality, reducing capacity for the weekend and adhering to any distancing rules that are in place across the hospitality industry at the time. We will be bringing on additional staff to ensure the highest standards of health and safety compliance, consulting specifically with regards to COVID regulations and best practice. We will also be working with all our hotel and venue teams to take extra precautions with regards to our groups, with additional staff to ensure cleaning and distancing standards are upheld.

    Of course, in the event of regional lockdowns, major outbreaks, and travel bans we will assess the feasibility of the overall event based on government guidance at that time.

    We will be adhering to UK government restrictions with regard to hospitality, events and tourism for our all UK based events, and if these do not permit our current capacity of guests, we will postpone the weekend to a later date.

What happens if the event is cancelled or POSTPONED?

  • We recognise that we live in uncertain times, so in the event our weekend is cancelled or postponed you will be offered a full refund for your booking. For reasons such as a COVID-19 national or regional lockdown, we will be postponing the weekend and setting a new date. You will have a 14 day cooling off period from the announcement of the new date to request a full refund. After that point, your booking will be transferred to the new date.

I AM TRAVELLING FROM A COUNTRY THAT has TRAVEL RESTRiCTIONS, and I AM UNABLE TO TRAVEL TO MY WEEKEND WITHOUT QUARANTINING. CAN I GET A REFUND?

  • Yes. If you are unable to attend one of our weekends because there are significant restrictions on your travel, such as legally imposed quarantining by the UK government through Amber or Red list designation, you will be able to request a full refund or transfer to another trip (dependent on availability). We understand that these are uncertain times and want to offer you as much flexibility as possible.

If I’m showing signs or test positive for Covid-19, can I still come.

  • If you test positive or show signs for Covid-19 prior to the event, you will not be able to attend, but your booking will covered by the above policy.

Do I need to bring my bike?

  • Yes you will need to bring along your own road bike. We can also offer some bikes for test riding across the weekend - but this will be on a first come first served basis.

Will there be a mechanic to fix my bike?

  • We’d like you to bring your bike in good working order, but our mechanics will be on hand for tune ups when you arrive, and should you need your bike repaired during a ride, our mechanics will aim to fix the problem. Any new parts will need to be paid for.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

  • Yes, always.

Do I need to bring anything for the rides?

  • You will be getting a LeBlanq team kit, which includes a jersey, shorts, and cap, but you should bring along clothing for all conditions, including your shoes. Always best to bring a spare pair just in case. Everything else you need will be provided for the rides.

What about clothing for the rest of the time?

  • Whatever you feel comfortable in. This is joyriding. But don’t forget to bring along swimwear to make use of all the spa facilities.

Can I ride my TT bike for the time trial?

  • For our 1988 Time Trial, we want it to be as fair as possible, so we’ll only be using road bikes this time around.

Will my bike be safe?

  • Yes your bike will be safe. We will have lock-ups but you should still have your bike insured.

Can I keep my bike in my room?

  • If the bike is clean, yes.

I’m not very fit, is this Weekend right for me?

  • We believe in joyriding, however you like to ride. We offer scaled ability groups on every ride for a wide array of abilities. With 6 weeks of training, most people should be able to cope with the 75km ride, providing you have a general base level of fitness. Everyone who is part of our weekend is also offered a complimentary 12 week training plan.

Is transport to and from the WeEKEND PART OF the package?

  • Travel to and from weekends is not included in your package, but our concierge can assist you in your travel plans.

  • Ferries from Southampton and Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight are included in your package, as well as all your transportation on the Island. You are responsible for getting to and from the port.

Is this an English speaking event?

  • Yes. All of our experiences and tours are done in English, including the fireside chats.

Can I drive to the hotel?

  • Yes. When we book you in we’ll find out a little more about how you intend to travel to the event, and advise you on travel arrangements. There’s plenty of parking at each hotel and accommodation.

Will you accommodate dietary requirements?

  • Yes, of course. All allergies will be catered for, just share the details with our concierge.
